Mikhael Mala

Born & raised in the West Midlands UK, Mikhael is a singer-songwriter & is known for his unique lyricism and World Music. He has performed across the United Kingdom.

Since winning the Sound of Souls 2011 he has performed for world-renowned figures & some of his proud performances were held at the Wembley Arena, O2 Arena, LG Arena and the Liverpool Echo Arena .Mikhael’s music expands the narrow category of “religious songs” (nasheed) with songs that transcend one-dimensional spiritual themes— reflecting instead on the greater human search for inspiration and purpose.

Mikhael believes that true, pure, and sincere music can go beyond the realm of “entertainment” and should open new doors of wonder and inspiration. Positive faith-based music should deepen spiritual insight and, most importantly, provide the soundtrack for the human journey towards the Divine.

Mikhael has performed for many renowned ‘Ulam,a among them are the likes of Habib Ali al-Jifri from Yemen and his Murshid Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi from Damascus.
